# Count people by role, status and tag

> How many people match the same filters as the list, and how many there are for each role, status and tag. Each group is counted as if its own filter were not set, so you can see what picking another value would give. Roles and tags can add up to more than the total, because a person can have several. Every role and status is listed, at 0 when nobody has it; tags are the 100 most used. To filter on a custom field, send `cf_` and its field key, such as `cf_home_type=Apartment`. A true-or-false field takes `yes` or `no`, a number field takes one exact number, and every other kind matches when its value contains what you send. List person filters shows which custom fields can be used; any other is refused. Needs **read** on People.
