# My portal

> What an adopter, a foster or a donor sees when they sign in: their own business, and nobody else's.

Somebody who signs in with only portal roles gets **My portal** instead of the console. It shows them their own business with your rescue and nothing about anybody else.

Somebody who also holds a team role gets the console, as before.

## An adopter

**Adopter portal** shows the person's own applications and adoptions:

* each application, what it is for (adoption, foster or volunteering), the animals named on it, and where it is: received, being reviewed, meet and greet booked, approved, not approved or withdrawn;
* each adoption, the animal, the day, the receipt number, how much of the fee is paid, and whether the contract is signed.

The reason an application was not approved is not shown. Tell them yourself.

## A foster

**Foster portal** shows the animals placed with that person's foster home right now, and for each one:

* what it eats, from the animal's diet;
* what is coming up on its medical record, with anything overdue marked;
* what was done recently;
* the last ten notes.

A foster can add a note to an animal in their care. It is written on the animal's record under their name, where your team sees it. A foster cannot change anything else, and cannot open an animal that is not placed with them.

## A donor

**Donor portal** shows the person's own gifts: the date, the amount, what it was for, and a total for each year. It also lists your campaigns that are running now, with what each has raised.

A year-end statement carries your tax number, so it is not printed from here. Print it from the donor's record: see [The year-end giving summary](/fundraising/donations#the-year-end-giving-summary).

## A volunteer
