Partner rescues
You can only transfer with a rescue you have linked with as a partner. Partners are linked under Settings → Organization → Partner rescues, by an invitation to an email address at the other rescue; see Organization settings. The Partner rescues link at the top of the Transfers page goes there. If a partnership ends, any offer between the two rescues that nobody has answered is withdrawn, with the note “The partnership ended.”Offering an animal

Answering an offer
Offers made to you are listed under Offered to you, each with the animal, its species, the rescue offering it, the day, and their note.- Accept brings the animal across. The offer then reads that the animal “is now yours”, with Open the record.
- Decline asks why, if you would like them to know (optional), then Decline the offer.
What is carried across
Accepting makes a new record in the receiving rescue.
The new record:
- arrives in care, dated today, with an intake of type Transfer in from the sending rescue;
- is not shown on the public site until you publish it;
- has no pet ID. The sender’s pet ID is kept as its previous ID;
- says Received from the sending rescue, with the day, what was copied across (“3 medical, 2 weights, 5 photos copied across”), and their ID.
- its status becomes transferred out, with today as its outcome date;
- it is taken off the public site and out of its housing;
- it says Transferred to the partner, with the day: “This record is kept as it was; the animal and its records went with them.”
