Petco Love Lost is offered to the adopter, not used by your staff. There is nothing to schedule and nothing for you to send.

What happens

After an adopter pays their adoption fee online, the thank-you page offers to register their new dog or cat with Petco Love Lost, free. They press it themselves. That is the whole design. Pressing it hands Petco Love the adopter’s name and email, along with the animal’s name, breed, colour, date of birth and photo, and that is the adopter’s to give, not yours. It is offered only for a dog or cat whose record has all of those details. Nothing is sent on a schedule, and nothing is sent that an adopter did not ask for.

What you need

Nothing. The key and login belong to RescueConsole as the partner, not to your rescue, so there is nothing to sign in to. Adding the integration is turning it on.

Set it up

1

Add the integration

In RescueConsole, open Settings → Advanced & security → Integrations, find Petco Love Lost under Lost and found, and add it.
2

Check an animal record is complete

The offer appears only when the animal has a name, breed, colour, date of birth and photo. An animal missing one of those is simply not offered.
This is built from Petco Love’s Partner API document and has not yet been run against their servers, because they had not issued the partner key when it was written. Check the first registration against their records before you tell adopters to expect it.
Reporting stray dogs and cats to Petco Love Lost as found is not built yet. Today this does one thing: it offers an adopter a free registration.
