Open Settings → Advanced & security → Support access to decide whether RescueConsole staff can open your account to help with a problem. Nobody at RescueConsole can open your account unless you allow it here, and access ends on its own when the time you choose runs out. The first line of the page says where things stand, in words:
  • Support cannot see your records.
  • Support can see your records until a date and time, with who allowed it and why.
Every member can open this page and see whether support has access. Only an Organization admin can allow it or turn it off; anyone else sees Only an organization admin can change this.

What support can do

Support can read your records as the person who allowed it can, and cannot change anything: every attempt to add, edit or delete is refused while they are in your account. If something needs changing, they ask you to change it.

Allowing support access

1

Choose for how long

Under Allow support access, choose For how long: 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days or 1 week. It starts at 1 day.
2

Say what it is for

What are they helping with? is optional: a ticket number, or what went wrong. It is kept in the history.
3

Allow it

Press Allow support access. Access starts at once and ends on its own when the time runs out.

Turning it off

Press Turn off support access. It takes effect at once, with no confirmation, and ends any session support has open in your account at that moment. You can turn it off at any time, whoever allowed it.

What is recorded

Two lists at the bottom of the page show what happened. Each shows the latest 50. Allowing and turning off support access are also recorded in Settings history.
